hmm… Firefox ist irgendwie doch a bissl flotter und zum Bloggen ist mir BlogDesk lieber. Kann wenigstens Bilder einbinden. Aber vielleicht ist ja Flock (hier geschrieben) für manche doch interessant.

Hab aber zwei coole Extensions für Firefox gefunden:

Unplug

UnPlug is an extenstion which lets you save video and audio which is embedded on a webpage.

UnPlug scans web pages and tells you where things like media players and other embedded objects are getting their data from, and displays it as a simple hyperlink: in most cases, you can then follow the simple download link to save the media file.

UnPlug works for lots of sites including youtube.com, iflim.com, current.tv, myspace.com and revver.com

UnPlug is different from the VideoDownloader extension - The Videodownloader extension takes you to the videodownloader.com website, which then tells you where the video is kept based on the website’s address. UnPlug will search what’s on the page for where the video is using a few different methods. It can also ask videodownloader.com or keepvid.com for their help too.

VideoDownloader

Download videos from Youtube, Google, Metacafe, iFilm, Dailymotion… and other 60+ video sites ! And all embedded objects on a webpage (movies, mp3s, flash, quicktime, etc) ! Directly !

VideoDownloader add a small icon on the status bar at the bottom of your firefox window, and a toolbar button. Just click that and download the video you are watching !

Ich schau mir gerade den auf Firefox basierenden Browser Flock an. Sieht ganz lustig aus. Integriert unter anderem del.ico.us und Flickr. Und hat einen Blog-Editor integriert.

Ebenfalls werden Firefox Extensions unterstützt - was ich als Firefox-Mouse-Gesture-Akrobat ganz cool finde.
